About Us

Dr. Friedland has practiced optometry for 30 years. He is a graduate of Clark University and SUNY College of Optometry where he was awarded the Max Cohen award for community service. He has a full therapeutic license. His areas  of interest are primary care optometry, treatment of contact lens overuse, and occupational spectacle prescribing. He is available Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Dr. Brenda Liang received her bachelor degree in biology at Boston University, graduating magna cum laude.  She continued her education at SUNY College of Optometry where she was awarded the Schnurmacher scholarship and the Dr. Millman scholarship for academic excellence.  Dr. Liang can conduct basic exams in Mandarin Chinese.

Dr. Alahyar Nissany is a graduate of Inter American University of Puerto Rico, School of Optometry. He is also fluent in Spanish and Farsi.

Dr. Peter Guidara did his undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University, receiving a bachelor’s in Science. He continued his education of SUNY College of Optometry where he received a doctorate of Optometry. He has a full therapeutic license, and specializes in primary care of Optometry. He is also fluent in Italian and can speak conversational Spanish. Dr. Guidara is available on Tuesdays and Sundays.

Dr. Eddie Li did his undergraduate at Rutgers University, receiving a Bachelors in both Biology and Chemistry. He is a graduate of the SUNY College of Optometry. His experiences include primary care optometry, contact lenses evaluation, dry eye management and refractive surgery management. He is available on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
